Why order kalle pache instead of cooking it at home?

Real Tehran-style kalle pache is a labour of love. The lamb head and trotters have to be cleaned by hand, then simmered low and slow for hours, until the broth turns silky and the meat slips off the bone. Very few home kitchens in Dubai have the deep pot, the ventilation, or the patient hours it truly takes. That is exactly why we exist — so you can wake up to (or stay up for) a proper bowl without tending a stockpot all night.

At Shaun the Sheep (Persian: شون‌ذ‌شیب), kalle pache is not a side dish on a long menu. It is the whole reason our kitchen is here. If the dish is new to you, our friendly explainer on what kalle pache actually is is a lovely place to begin.

What makes Shaun the Sheep's kalle pache worth ordering?

We are one dedicated kitchen at 64 Jumeira Street in Jumeirah 1, and we do one thing seriously well. Our broth is simmered the traditional Tehran way for about 14 hours — nothing rushed, nothing faked with powders or shortcuts. Every order is made fresh, put together for you rather than ladled from something that has been sitting around.

Because we specialise, you get to choose exactly the parts you love. And the meat is halal — as all meat in the UAE is by law and standard — so you can order with complete peace of mind, at any hour of the day.

Reasons our regulars keep coming back

  • Traditional method: a genuine ~14-hour simmer, the way it is done in Tehran.
  • Made to order: your bowl is prepared fresh, not pre-portioned hours earlier.
  • Open 24/7: the craving decides the time, not our opening hours.
  • Halal: standard across the UAE, so it is one less thing to think about.
  • Your whole city: delivery across all of Dubai, plus pickup and dine-in.

What can you actually order?

You can build a bowl around exactly the parts you enjoy, or let us do it for you with a mixed platter. Gentle first-timers often start with plain broth or meat; the more adventurous reach for tongue, brain, cheek or trotters. Not sure where to begin? Our first-timer's guide walks you through it kindly.

How does ordering and delivery work?

It takes a couple of minutes on our order page. Choose your bowls, parts or a platter, add sangak, torshi and doogh, and check out. For delivery, pick your Dubai area and drop a map pin so the rider finds your exact door — a small step that saves a lot of back-and-forth. You pay securely online by card, and the rider calls you on arrival.

The delivery fee is set by your area and shown clearly at checkout before you pay — and delivery is free over AED 300, which is easy to reach with a Full or Khan platter for the family. Want to collect instead? Choose pickup, or come and sit with us; you can also reserve a table.

Craving it later? Schedule ahead

If you want your kalle pache for a specific time — an early Friday breakfast, a late-night gathering, or the morning after — you can schedule a future time at checkout and we will have it ready then. Prefer the classic pre-dawn ritual? We are open through the night, every night.

Is the ordering experience friendly if I don't read English?

Yes. The whole website works in English, Arabic and Persian, so you can browse the menu and place your order comfortably in your own language. Everything from the part names to checkout is there in all three, which makes ordering for the family stress-free.

Ready for a real bowl of kalle pache?
