Why order kalle pache online in Dubai?
There is a particular kind of hunger that only a steaming bowl of Tehran-style kalle pache can answer, and in Dubai you no longer have to be awake at dawn, dressed, and driving across town to find it. At Shaun the Sheep we cook one thing properly: lamb head and trotters, hand-cleaned and slow-simmered for about fourteen hours in the classic way, served as a warm broth with the parts you love, torn sangak, torshi and doogh. And we bring it to your door across all 141 areas of Dubai, at any hour of any day.
The whole order takes only a few minutes, and everything sits in one place: no phone calls, no waiting on hold, no wondering whether we are open (we always are). Here is exactly what happens, step by step, so your first time feels as easy as your tenth.
Step one: how do I choose my parts or platter?
Open our order page and browse the menu. Kalle pache is built from parts, and you get to choose exactly what you love. Order individual bowls, such as plain broth, meat (goosht), tongue (zaban), cheek (bonagoosh), brain (maghz), eye (cheshm), tripe (sirabi), trotters (paye), meat-and-fat, or brain soup, or reach for the Special Mix, which gives you a little of everything in one generous bowl.
If you are feeding more than yourself, order by group size instead. Our platters come in four sizes: Single for one, Double for two, the Full family platter for around three, and the Khan, our largest sharing platter for a hungry group. Not sure which fits your table? Our guide to the Single, Double, Full and Khan platters and our note on how much to order per person take the guesswork out of it.
Step two: what should I add alongside?
Kalle pache is a full ritual, not just a bowl. Before you check out, add the things that make it complete: torn sangak, the traditional stone-baked flatbread, or Special Sangak, a more generously topped version; a jar of torshi including our seven-year garlic pickle; and a cold glass of doogh, the savoury yogurt drink that cuts through the richness. If tea is your thing, add Persian chai; if you want something bright, there is fresh lemonade and sharbat, plus soft drinks. Our short guide to sangak, torshi and doogh explains why each one earns its place on the table.
Step three: delivery, pickup or dine-in?
Now choose how you want it.
- Delivery: pick your Dubai area from the checkout list and drop a pin on the map so the rider finds your exact door. The delivery fee depends on your area and is shown before you pay, and delivery is free when your order is over AED 300.
- Pickup: order ahead and collect it hot from our kitchen at 64 Jumeira Street, Jumeirah 1.
- Dine-in: prefer to eat it fresh at the table, the way it is meant to be enjoyed? Come to us; you can also reserve a table.
Step four: how do I pay, and what happens next?
Payment is quick and secure: you pay online by card as you place the order, so nothing is left to sort out at the door. Once your order is in, we start cooking to it. For delivery, the rider calls you on arrival, so you are not stuck watching the door; just answer, meet them, and carry your bowl to the table. That is the whole journey, from a few taps to a warm bowl in your hands.
Can I order kalle pache for later?
Yes. If you want it for a specific time, such as a slow weekend breakfast, a family lunch, or guests arriving at nine, choose to schedule your order for a future time at checkout. We hold it and cook so it reaches you fresh at the moment you asked for, not hours early. Because our kitchen runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week, you can schedule almost any slot you like.
