Do I have to create an account to order?
No. There is no account, no password, no sign-up form and no app to install — you order from Shaun the Sheep as a guest, and that is how everyone orders. What you are asked for instead is short and entirely practical: a name, a phone number and, if you want delivery, an address, your Dubai area and a pin dropped on the map. Every one of those fields exists because a real person needs it — the cook plating your bowls, the rider standing outside your building at dawn.
Then what exactly does the checkout ask me for?
Here is the complete list, with the honest reason beside each one. If it is not on this table, you are not being asked for it.
| What you are asked for | Why it is needed | When |
|---|---|---|
| Your name | So the kitchen knows whose order is on the counter and the rider knows who to ask for. | Always |
| Your phone number | The rider phones you on arrival, and it is how the kitchen reaches you if there is a question. | Always |
| Your address | Building, villa, floor — the details a map alone cannot supply. | Delivery |
| Your Dubai area, chosen from the list | The area sets the delivery charge, so you see it before you pay. | Delivery |
| A pin on the map | The pin gives the rider the exact door: the right tower entrance, the right gate. | Delivery |
| A time, if you are ordering ahead | So the kitchen starts your food at the right moment; you can schedule up to about two days ahead. | Optional |
| Card details | Entered on the secure payment step, for that one order. Payment is made online at checkout and it is the only method. | Always |
| A password | Never. There is no password, no username and no login page on this site. | Never |
Why do you need my phone number?
Because a person is going to call you on it. When the rider reaches your building he phones you rather than standing in a lobby guessing which of forty doors is yours, and that single call is what keeps kalle pache hot. The same number is how the kitchen reaches you if your order needs a word — a note that was not clear, a gate that will not open before sunrise. It works in the other direction too: the kitchen line, 04 321 8882, is answered around the clock, and the telephone is how you reach us. One number, with a person on the end of it.
I have typed my address — why the area and the map pin as well?
Because they do two different jobs and neither replaces the other. The area you choose from the list sets your delivery charge, so the amount is on your screen before you pay rather than arriving as a surprise. The pin is pure geography: Dubai is a city of near-identical towers and buildings whose official address does not match the entrance a car can actually stop at. Dropping the pin on the door you want the food brought to removes the guesswork, and it is the work of a moment. Both are required for delivery, and delivery is free on orders over AED 300.
Where do my card details go if I have no account?
To the secure online payment step, and only there. You pay by card at checkout — that is the only payment method — and the payment is finished before the food leaves the kitchen. Because there is no account, nothing about your card is kept for a "next time"; you enter the details on the secure payment page each time you order. If you want the longer version of that answer, we wrote a whole piece on it: is online payment safe when ordering kalle pache in Dubai.
Am I losing anything by not having an account?
Let us be straight rather than flattering. There is no address book that fills itself in, no stored card and no list of past orders to log into. Those things simply do not exist here, and we would rather say so plainly than let you hunt the screen for a button that was never built. What you get in exchange is what actually matters at three in the morning: no password to remember, no reset link to wait for, no verification code arriving long after you have given up and gone back to bed. You want a bowl of soup and warm sangak, not an identity check.
What does ordering at three in the morning actually look like?
- Open the menu and add what you want — Soup, Brain, Trotters, Tongue, Lamb Cheek, the Special Mix, or a platter such as The Full Dish or The Khan's Platter, with sangak, torshi and doogh.
- Choose delivery, pickup or dine-in.
- Type your name and phone number. For delivery, add your address, pick your area from the list and drop the pin.
- Pay by card on the secure payment step.
- You land on your order's page. The kitchen confirms the order and sets an estimated time, and the rider phones you on arrival.
That is the whole thing. The kitchen at 64 Jumeira Street, Jumeirah 1 is open twenty-four hours a day, every day, so a dawn order is not a favour you are asking for — it is an ordinary shift for us. There are no branches to choose between either: one kitchen, cooking for the whole city.
How do I follow my order without logging in?
Through the order's own page on the site, which is where you land the moment your payment goes through. The kitchen confirms the order, sets an estimated time, and the page shows you where things stand. Keep that tab open or save the link and you can come back to it whenever you like. When the rider arrives he calls you on the number you gave. If you close the page and cannot find it again, phone 04 321 8882 with your name and the number you ordered with, and the kitchen will tell you exactly where your order is.
Can I order for a set time without an account?
Yes — pre-ordering runs through the same guest flow. You pick a future time, up to about two days ahead, and pay for the order then; the kitchen simply begins it at the hour you chose. For a kitchen that never closes, a breakfast delivery at first light is an ordinary order rather than a special request, and it is often the calmest way to plan a Friday morning table full of trotters and fresh sangak.
What if I need to change or cancel after paying?
Telephone the kitchen straight away on 04 321 8882. There is no cancel button and no edit button on the website, and we would rather tell you that plainly than have you searching for one. Kalle pache is put together to order, so speed matters: catch us in the first minutes and a change is usually easy, but once your bowls are being plated it may be too late. Someone answers that line at any hour, which is the real advantage of a kitchen that never closes.
What if the kitchen cannot make my order?
Then the order is rejected with a reason, and the card payment is refunded automatically. The reason appears on your order page, so you are never left guessing why. The refund goes back to the card that paid; how quickly your bank posts it is genuinely outside our control, so we will not promise you a number of days.
Does ordering as a guest work for pickup and dine-in too?
Yes, and the form is even shorter.
| How you are eating | What you are asked for | Worth knowing |
|---|---|---|
| Delivery | Name, phone, address, area, map pin, card | Free over AED 300. The rider phones you on arrival. |
| Pickup | Name, phone, card | No address and no pin — you are the delivery. |
| Dine-in | Name, phone, card | A table can be reserved. A Kettle of Tea is dine-in only and cannot be delivered. |
The short version
No account, no password, no app. A name so the kitchen knows whose order it is, a phone number so the rider can call, an area and a pin so he finds the right door, and a card payment on the secure step. Nothing else, and nothing hidden. Start at the menu whenever you are hungry, or call 04 321 8882 if you would rather say it out loud.
